All Hail Windlight!
Where did this picture come from you ask? Did I go crazy with the photoshopitude?
I did no such thing. This is a straight up screen shot of Second Life's new Release Candidate.
2-3 times better frame rate on client side effects (like tv screens, flexiprims, particles) water and sky effects, as you can see, look breathtaking. The sunset even casts a warm, orange glow upon my hat :D

Wow! It makes the regular SL look like Atari 2600 material. Do you think they went a bit overboard on the light and detail? It's cool, but it's a bit Thomas Kinkcadish too.
Since when did Thomas Kincade become Kink Cade I wonder? XD
Aside from that I still know nothing about the man's art.
I've always found Kinkade's artwork to be strange. Everything's so bright and over saturated. I goofed on him in one of my earliest blog posts:
